After waiting for 3 months, they finally came to Seattle friday night. Those of you who don't know, these guys are from NC and are an amazing bunch. Every time they would say something about NC in one of their songs, I screamed so loud. There was even a guy in the middle with a NC flag. Gotta represent. It was a sold out show. Charly, Jill and Amber all came with me. It was an awesome night.

On Saturday, Charly and I went bike riding and he showed me the many cool places in my new neighborhood. I live in Ballard, which is still within Seattle, but about 10 minutes away from downtown. Keep in mind that I live about 10 blocks away from where these pictures take place. The beach is called Crystal Gardens. It was packed. It's amazing how many people flock out on nice days like this. Even though we were all pale and pasty, nobody seemed to care about stupid stuff like that. It was about 74 degrees. It was truly an amazing day. Can you see the mountains in the background?

Ain't she adorable. I mean really. Amber and I both are not fans of cats, but who could resist this little rat. We rescued her over christmas. We found her in at her dad's house in an old chicken coup. Hence the name, Coop. As much as we want to keep her, we are not. We are keeping her until we find her a good home.

A Tattooy Christmas

I went with Amber to her work's christmas party. She works for a tattoo shop called Slave to the Needle. Everyone was awesome. It was a lot of fun. The paintings are from the white elephant gift exchange they did. Basically every tattoo artist did a painting and people picked a gift randomly. The catch was that you could steal other people's gifts. It got really dirty as we got into it. Luckily, Amber made it out with a painting from an AMAZING artist, Chris Thompson.

So, if you didn't already know I love Seattle, I'm here to tell you again that I love Seattle! I still feel like I'm on vacation, but I keep telling myself to enjoy it while I can. So I'm living with this girl named Amber, who is such an awesome person to live with and to just know. We are living in her studio apartment in the best location up on capitol hill. We are going to stay here while we look for a 2 Br house. We are both getting used to the idea of living with another girl, but we are quickly finding out that it is a lot of fun. She's been so willing to help me out when I need to go places b/c my sense of direction is pretty shaky right now. She's got 2 awesome dogs, Doja & Rodey, who are full of character. I miss my girls so much, but it's nice to have her dogs around to keep my mind off missing them so much but yet help me keep thinking about them everyday. I'm posting up some random photos, with more stories and more pics to come very soon. Miss everyone bunches. xoxo
